Smith Allen Insurance is a leading independent insurance agency that specializes in providing preferred personal insurance to clients in the DFW area. The typical client has multiple personal insurance policies - homeowners, personal auto and perhaps umbrella and other policies. Smith Allen provides insurance products from a select group of preferred insurance carriers - Travelers, Allstate, Hippo, Progressive, Safeco, Hartford, State Auto, Kemper, Chubb, and others.
We are looking for long-term success-oriented people who may or may not have prior insurance experience – however you must have strong character, a good attitude and willingness to learn. We take great pride in our company, the culture and this opportunity. Here are some reasons why.
We pay Salary + Aggressive Commission on new business, and Residual Income Compensation on renewals is extremely competitive.

Obtain strong networking connections with mortgage loan officers, realtors, and other local professionals.
Develop expert knowledge of personal P&C insurance, and the various carriers that Smith Allen represents as well as major competitors (State Farm, USAA, Geico, etc).
Effectively communicate with prospects and clients while they are going through the home-buying process. Develop the ability to provide clear and accurate advice.
Track and update critical activities including referral source prospecting, client quotes and proposals, networking events/opportunities.
