Brian Demarais - Personal Insurance Advisor

Brian grew up in the piney woods of Longview, Texas and went on to attend Texas A&M in 2009.

After graduation in 2013, Brian used his Psychology degree and passion for helping others while working in Houston at a center for children with autism called Spectrum of Hope. Brian spent two years at Spectrum of Hope engaging in one-on-one therapy with children working on educational, social, and functional skills. Brian applies the qualities he developed at Spectrum in understanding and individualizing each client here at Smith Allen.

Throughout his life, Brian has been blessed with many opportunities for travel and incredible experiences such as attending the 2012 Eurocup, canyoning in the Swiss Alps, riding gondolas through Venice canals, and running with the bulls in Spain.

Since moving to Dallas in 2014 he has strived to be active in the community, serving as an officer in the Dallas A&M Club, Social Chair for the Rotary Club of Dallas, member of Safer Dallas Better Dallas, mentoring current A&M students, teacher for children’s Sunday School at Watermark Church, and is a member of the Exchange Club of Lake Highlands.  Brian and his wife live in Lake Highlands with their two-year-old son, Noah, and their three dogs.  They attend Munger Place Church, and he is active in a men’s leadership & fitness group called F3.  For an interesting story, ask Brian how he met his wife!  Through the good times and the bad, Brian’s philosophy on life is that “everyone should strive to be the person your dog thinks you are.”
