Smith Allen Insurance agency was established
in 1952 by Preston Smith and Albert Allen, former agents representing
Millers Group in Fort Worth. Preston’s son, Larry Smith, joined
Smith Allen in the 1960’s. He led the agency for four decades amidst
several market cycles and the ongoing transformation of the personal
insurance landscape in the Dallas area. Preston's grandson, Stan
Smith, joined Smith Allen in early 2003, becoming the third generation
of the Smith family to lead the agency.
Since Smith Allen first opened they have been writing insurance
in the Park Cities, SMU, Highland Park, Lake Highlands, M-streets,
Lakewood and Uptown areas of central Dallas. Over recent years
they have expanded into North Dallas, Plano, Richardson, Frisco,
Allen, McKinney and many other surrounding areas.
This agency has witnessed these communities evolve into what they
are today, which has allowed the agency to gain a deep understanding
for the neighborhoods, businesses, and people in the area. Today,
Smith Allen is committed to providing solutions for people who
have complex personal insurance needs. |
