History

Smith Allen Insurance Agency was established in 1952 by Preston Smith and Albert Allen, former agents representing Millers Group in Fort Worth, Texas.  Preston’s son, Larry Smith, joined Smith Allen in the 1960’s.  Stan Smith, the third generation, joined in early 2003. 

Since 1952, Smith Allen has been writing insurance in the Park Cities, SMU, Highland Park and Uptown areas of central Dallas.  The agency has watched this area of Dallas grow into what it is today.  This has allowed the agency gain a deep understanding for the neighborhoods, businesses, and people in the area.
